Progressive Dinner & Winter Stroll for Lowell Winterfest 
February 5 - 7, 2009

Visit art galleries, museums, cafés and restaurants, animated with blues/folk musicians, street dance performers, and a Chinese Lantern Festival.

Lowell Film Festival
April 3 - 5, 2009

Watch the latest independent films on globalization, and garment and food production. Visit a "Fair Trade" market to know about fair trade organizations and products.

Lowell Open Doors
May 14 - 17, 2009

Restaurants, cafés and historical buildings will open their doors to guide you through Lowell's multi-faceted heritage and ethnic food extravaganza.

Lowell Arts Festival
September 26 - 27, 2009
Meet with writers, painters, photographers, dancers, actors and musicians. Fine arts and crafts, art workshops, and specialty foods will welcome you along the way.

Massachusetts Poetry Festival
October 16 - 17, 2009

Meet with local and regional poets - many of national significance - and discover the literary heritage of the Commonwealth, with poetry readings, panel talks, and performances.

Thanksgiving Weekend 2009

Visit the downtown creative product retailers to kick-off the holiday shopping season. Galleries, museums’ gift shops, and crafts booths will welcome you with the most original gifts!
