Revolving Kid

Join The Revolving Museum and its partners in this public art festival in the Acre and celebrate the family fun around Toys and Games! Explore youth and society through Toys and Games inspired activities. With art-making for children and adults, giant board games, ethnic food purveyors, art and crafts booths, and music & dance marching bands, this is a day for adults and kids of all ages! Free public art work-shops will amuse you, and art flags designed by local youth will decorate the surrounding neighborhoods.

Laotian Legacy

Saturday May 17th, 3– 6 pm
Market Mills Courtyard, 246 Market Street
FREE event!

Explore Laos, a land of beauty and rich cultural heritage, through traditional arts, music, dance and food! Festivities kick off with a monks’ blessing ceremony, followed by live music and dance performances and a fashion show of traditional Laotian dresses. Join us for a few clips from documentary films and a community panel discussion. Enjoy an open reception with authentic Laotian food. Local Laotian families will bring dishes from their traditional recipes, and Laotian restaurants will offer their best signature courses. Come, join in and experience Southeast Asia right in the heart of downtown Lowell.
