The Spinners will celebrate their 13th season in Lowell in 2008, as a Class A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Edward LeLacheur Park, located on the banks of the Merrimack River near the UMass-Lowell campus, offers a dramatic view of both the flowing Merrimack River and the distinct red arches of the Aiken Street Bridge. The facility also houses UMass-Lowell Riverhawks baseball.
