Playing for Peace: Lowell Celebrates the World Cup 2010

The 2010 FIFA World Cup is here! The City of Lowell, ONE Lowell, and Pollard Memorial Library partner to present "Playing for Peace," a series of family-friendly events that will bring the community together through the world-renowned game of soccer. Please join us for the following:

June 7 - 12: World Cup Soccer Raffle, Pollard Memorial Library. Stop by the Children’s Reference Desk from June 7 - 12 and fill out a special raffle ticket to be entered into a soccer ball raffle! You’ll need to write the title of one book you just read and tell us two things about that book. There will be two separate raffles: one for kids ages 8 and younger, and one for kids ages 9 through 12.
