Opened and dedicated on January 27th, 1998, the arena proudly bears the name of the late Senator Paul E. Tsongas, a Lowell native. They are one of Massachusetts newest venues providing quality entertainment for all ages. The arena is home to the Lowell Devils, of the American Hockey League and the NCAA Division I UMass-Lowell River Hawks hockey team.
