MUSEUMS OF LOWELL
"Passport to Adventure"
The Museums of Lowell have joined forces! With a brand new logo
designed by resident graphic artist, Joan Ross, and a website with
links to each of the individual museums at www.museumsoflowell.org
, the nine Museums of Lowell, including the American Textile History
Museum, The Revolving Museum, New England Quilt Museum, Boott Cotton
Mills Museum, Brush Art Gallery and Studios, Mogan Cultural Center,
Whistler House Museum of Art, the University Gallery at UMass Lowell
and the newly-opened National Streetcar Museum of Lowell, are taking
the cultural world by storm!
COOLMobile... Bringing ART to a Neighborhood Near You!
The City of Lowell now has the opportunity to inspire our children to embrace the creative process through the magical experience this bus will bring! The Cultural Organization of Lowell (COOL) is currently developing a program with The Revolving Museum, to bring the newly-deemed COOLMobile to our neighborhoods. The bus will celebrate the many aspects of our city's diversity and cultural richness, and will involve approximately 100 children in the transformation of the bus to reflect Lowell's pride.
Lowell Open Studios
On October 25th & 26th, 2003 from noon - 5pm, over 50 Lowell artists will be opening their studios. Come and be a part of this annual art event!
